How To Destroy Your Negative Subconscious.

Do You Know Someone Who's a Drag to Be Around?

I'm talking about the people who can never see the good in anything. They’re mopey, easily frustrated, cynical. When you hang around them, they drain your energy. You know exactly what I mean.

The sad truth is, these people get stuck in a mental hole of their own making—and never climb out. They don’t believe happiness is possible for them, whether it’s in business, relationships, fitness, or any other area of life.

But here’s the interesting thing: they weren’t born that way. They became that way by neglecting their minds at some point.

And now, let me take this a step further: we all have this person inside of us.

Yes, even you, Little Miss Sunshine who posts smoothie pics every morning. Yes, even you, Bodybuilder Bob who only eats steak and chicken. We all have a mopey, negative voice inside our heads that shoots down ideas, criticizes everything, and drags us down.

The sooner we acknowledge this, the sooner we can work to clear it out of our minds.

Let’s give this voice a name: MopeyBoo.

For the rest of this newsletter, I’ll be referring to this voice as MopeyBoo. Naming it makes it easier to recognize when it shows up. Next time you catch yourself complaining or being overly negative, just pause and say, “Oh, MopeyBoo is back.”

How to Destroy MopeyBoo

MopeyBoo is actually a blessing.
Read that again.

Without MopeyBoo, we wouldn’t have the experience of returning to our true selves and realizing our full potential. MopeyBoo is so intolerable and miserable that we’re forced to drive him out.

The good news? You already have everything you need to get rid of him.

Not by force, but by love and awareness. MopeyBoo is afraid of the light. The moment you shine awareness on him, he starts to disappear.

Letting the Light In

No one consciously chooses to live in deep negativity. If you really examine people’s minds, you’ll find that fear is at the core of MopeyBoo’s existence—fear of failure, rejection, pain, even fear of success.

But here’s the key: these fears are not yours. They belong to MopeyBoo.

You are the light of consciousness. You are not bound by fear.

I know you won’t instantly transcend into eternal truth just by reading this (though that would be cool), but I hope this plants a seed in your mind.

Three Ways to Clean Your Mind and Destroy MopeyBoo

  1. Meditation/Prayer
Meditating or praying is like opening the blinds inside your mind, allowing more awareness and light to shine in. Your subconscious is where most negativity and fear live, so it’s critical to engage in this practice consistently.

Be genuine when you meditate or pray. Be honest, seek clarity, and commit to the process. This isn’t easy work—it will challenge you. MopeyBoo won’t go down without a fight. But the more light you bring in, the less space he has to exist.

  1. Walking
What’s good for your heart is good for your mind. Keep your body moving.

I like to take 20-30 minute walks twice a day when possible. My best ideas and reflections come during these walks. They make it easier to observe my thoughts and recognize when MopeyBoo is creeping in.

Try walking without blasting loud music or distractions. Keep it calm and reflective.

  1. Work on a Project That Aligns with Your Higher Purpose
For the past two months, I’ve been pouring my energy into this newsletter and creating more conscious content. And let me tell you—it has shifted my mindset in ways I never expected.

I wake up excited to write, film videos, and help people better understand their minds. This work has elevated my energy, my mindset, and my overall well-being.

If you feel exhausted and burned out, stick to steps 1 and 2. But if you feel the energy calling you to create, listen to it.

Your project can be anything that brings more light into your life and helps others.

Final Thoughts

I know not many people are reading this newsletter yet, but these insights are timeless. Whether you’re here now or stumbling across this months later, I hope it brings you value.

To those who have been commenting on my TikTok videos—thank you. Your words keep me going.
